Nathan Salazar

As a Co-founder and the CEO of CySOC, Nathan has over 10 years of experience in providing comprehensive cybersecurity solutions for businesses, large and small. He has a passion for helping organizations protect their network from attacks, manage risk, and address security vulnerabilities, without having to deal with multiple vendors or pay for a full-time IT staff.

With his experience and certifications in network engineering and voice, Nathan has the technical skills and knowledge to design, implement, and maintain secure and reliable network systems for any business. Nathan also has the business acumen and leadership skills to oversee the operations and growth of CySOC, a one-stop-shop for end-to-end security and network solutions. Nathan’s mission is to provide our clients with reliability, trust, and peace of mind, while building resilient businesses that can defend themselves against the ever-growing threat of cyber-attacks.

Sales Director

Mark Garrett

Mark Garrett is the Sales Director at CySOC and a recognized technology expert with over 30 years of experience spanning large enterprise technical support, helpdesk operations, collaboration platforms, sales engineering, and go-to-market strategy. Throughout his career, Mark has worked across financial services, large enterprise SaaS, and hardware sales, giving him a deep understanding of both the technical and business sides of cybersecurity.

At CySOC, Mark focuses on helping small and mid-sized healthcare organizations understand and reduce cyber risk in practical, achievable ways. He is known for his strengths in cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and end-user technical training, with a strong emphasis on client education and advisory rather than fear-based selling. Mark believes that informed users and clear communication are essential to building effective security programs.

Outside of work, Mark is a huge Star Wars fan, who enjoys spending time with his two teenage daughters and keeping up with his two Australian Shepherds, who ensure life stays active and balanced.
